ValueI was travelling with my wife and we liked Hotel Da Vinci very much. Hotel and rooms are nicely and stylishly decorated. Our room had a balcony and a nice view down the Sokolska street. Staff was helpful and breakfast was ok, although we hoped that they would also offer something green (fresh vegetables) at the breakfast. Location is very good, metro (underground) station just 100 metres away and the hotel is located just a few hundred meters from the Wencelas Square. Nearby the hotel were restaurants and a 24/7 grocery shop. The beds in our room were a bit too hard to our taste and our could hear the noise from the street and from the other rooms pretty clearly. These minor inconviences aside, I definitely recommend Hotel Da Vinci and would also stay there again.

This was a good example of a small but perfectly formed hotel in an excellent location. I have read reviews about the noise of the road outside and the size of the rooms. Yes, it is on a busy road. If you want a relaxing break where you want to spend a large proportion of your time in the hotel then this is not the place for you. If on the other hand you want a base from which to explore Prague and spend only sleeping time/breakfast time in the hotel then i doubt this could be bettered. Its location is superb - it is minutes from the Metro station and an easy walk to Wenceslas Square. The pay off for this is the road noise. If you get a room overlooking the main road (on the left of the hotel as you face the front)you might find this excessive. This, however, is remedied by closing the window! My advice would be to ask for a room on the right hand side as this faces a quieter road. The rooms are small - but incredibly clean and well (if not simply) decked out. The entire hotel is modern and immaculate. The breakfast was superb, a fine feast of cold meats, pastries, bacon, eggs, beans, toast, coffee, tea etc etc. It was just what you need to refuel before 10 hours plus of sight seeing.
